Casting Call

 Hey Gems.

Welcome to back 'the inner workings on my mind'. This time it's how I picked my partners for this project. And y'all already know how this goes. So let's get it into this Gems.

For this project I'm working with Karina Sanchez, Jennifer Hernandez and Madeleine Merrick. Yes I know the group has expanded. Let's talk about it.  Madeleine, Karina and I worked together for the music video and in my opinion it went amazingly.  Since the success of the last project why not keep it going with a few changes. Jennifer is a friend of both Karina and I so connecting the dots. She has a good work ethic and great attitude. Last project we bounced so many good ideas off of one another it made the brainstorming process so much easier. It was like an other conversation between friends. This however did not stop the work from being done as it played into the dynamic that went on behind the scenes. I'm so excited to welcome Jennifer to the group. Jennifer who is a friend of both Karina and I so connecting the dots. She has a good work ethic and great attitude. So the group is only benefiting from here.

Good things are coming Gems I can just tell. But for all of that is coming when production starts. So in other words I'll see y'all in the next one.

Sincerely,
Makenna Jewels <3

Title Research; Gone girl

Welcome back Gems. Today the research we've learned is being used to break down an opening sequence.  The movie being used is Gone Girl. Let's get into this.  The website I have decided to use is: http://www.artofthetitle.com/ What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? They display that it is a David Fincher film Based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, Written by Gillian Flynn and Scott Huff. They also mention the actors like Rosamund Pike, Ben Affleck, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Carrie Coon, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, and Lisa Banes. Also, they mention the title “Gone What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The opening sequence of Gone Girl is quite stylized and features a series of images of the lead characters Amy Eliott and Nick Punne as well as the various places where the movie is set, including their sprawling New York home, the streets of Missouri, and the natural surroundings. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre fro...

Production; Wrapped in black

Hey Gems.  I hope you enjoyed my rant about about motorcycles last blog. Today's blog is going to be less aggressive. Yes, I know the title is deceiving. But what do you expect when this is a glimpse into my chaotic mind. However today is all about my costume. Let's get into this.   My character Amanda (spoiler) is the stalker so we decided all black would be the best option.  A hoodie was also included in the outfit as to make to reveal more dramatic. Shall we break this outfit down like they do on the red carpet.  A black hoodie that was slightly oversized to have a hood that would cover my face. The face covering that was actually a black scarf which was used instead of a face mask. And I think the worst decision made on my part, black boots with an wedge. Don't get me wrong I love my boots but as a stalker running around a fair, a pair of Converses would have been a relief. The hoodie and boots were paired with dark blue jeans. Side note the nails ...
