Production: Refilm; The Twirl-O-World

Hey Gems, today is about over coming the challenges faced while filming. And I know y’all read the last blogs. So let’s not spend time talking about what we already know. And get into the new stuff which is a lot more positive than the other post. Ok enough intro let’s get into this.

As you know the mirror maze was a bust. We already know why, so lets talk solution. We need another way to separate the friends with out the mirror maze. And it literally hit us, well screamed at us. We're at a fair what do fairs have, rides duh.  I can't believed we didn't think of that before. But y'all know how it is when you get an idea, it just kind of sticks. So we found a ride I don't know the name, but the one where you sit and it up in the air and spins. So we all got on that because it's a fair after all and they're meant for fun. The scene was filmed but tiny problem we weren't in the scene. To avoid being seen since Karina and I weren't in the shot we sat on the opposite side of the ride.

Also who knew fairs had dark place. I'm not complaining because it was the perfect to film the getting snatched scene. And it was away from people walking through our shot while filming. How dare they, I've made them extras and this is how they treat me. But the corner was a mini alley and alley kidnappings is very mystery movie of us, just saying.

Anyway the moral of the story, don't let someone in a mirror maze stop you from making masterpiece.  Well that's it Gems. Go ride a roller coaster and keep shining.

Sincerely,

Makenna Jewels<3

Intro blog; All about me

Welcome Gems to the story of my life.  My name is Makenna Jewels Ricks born on December 20th 2007 making me a Sagittarius. I grew up with my two younger sisters and two older brothers. And my favorite color is pink.  Now that the introduction is out of the way let's get into it. From a very young age I have always loved to read, a trait I still posses. The feel of paper in my hands is an unbeatable feeling.  It has always been amazing how some can create such a complex world with only ink, paper and their imagination.  Emotional transportation to anywhere or any time I like. The Book Thief, Six of Crows and Legendborn really created this transportation for me. Baking is a passion of mine. It's like sharing in the art of creation, with sugar, spice and all that. My favorite personal recipe has to be my mini apple pies, that's all I can say about them (trademark pending). But y'know what beats baking desserts? Eating desserts, chocolate chip cookies, cake with but...

Production: Filming; The Man in the Mirror (maze)

Hey Gems. Welcome back as promised here is the blog were I felt everything went wrong. But we'll get into that. This blog is not A Glimpse in my Chaotic Mind, because I wouldn't have done that, rather a look into someone else's mind. Let's just get into this.  First how do you work at a fair and have the most unapproachable attitude I have ever seen in my whole 16 years of living. Like if you don't like people don't work at fair. Like hello. So as y’all know the mirror maze was a major part of our film. Yes I’m using past tense because that dream came crashing down real quick. So. we mostly filmed in order of the scenes. We beforehand asked each ride or game attendee can we film. When we asked Mr. Attitude’s response was “no, how many?” Then when we were trying to explain the situation to him he just scanned the game-card and told us to go in. However we were what for it to clear so we could get a good take. He doesn’t care at all.  Now that we had captured the ...

Production; And We Have a Winner

Hey Gems. It's that time again. Season finale of A Glimpse in my  Chaotic  Mind. And today is all about the finishing touch and the final product. I know it's bitter sweet but let's put those feelings aside.  So as you know the film was reviewed by a peer (for more on that check that blog). This installment is about all the changes and mishaps that occurred. L et's get into this. So first let's address the elephant in the room. Well y'all wouldn't know this but the movie was over its run time. Which the reviewer and the group pointed out. Now there is deleted scenes which is always my favorite, maybe I can share that with all but first permission from Patrisha. Deciding which scene would be cut wasn't that hard. The problem was would the story make sense if this part is taken away. And if I'm being honest this all spiraled from the mirror maze incident. But even with the scene being deleted the story still followed a linear path.  So y'all rememb...
